My cats are always up late and early risers and you can hear them poking at the balls and mice inside the box. I usually leave the balls in the box and only put the toy mice in there when I'm around otherwise one of my cats will end up trying to eat them. Very fun and the larger 4x4 box is great for multiple cats. I considered the 3x3 box but thought it might be a bit smaller for multiple cats. Very fun toy!

I put other toys, even treats inside, he just starred at it, put his hand in for 3 seconds, walked away, I have had it out for 1 month and he does not play with it. We have a cat that eats SO fast, while the others eat at a normal pace. We tried the food balls that they roll around, which are good, but we saw this box on some cat show and thought it would be perfect. Our cats LOVE this box. We use it with treats, toys, and dry kibble (yes we still feed a small amount of dry kibble). The cats seem to really enjoy foraging for their foods and they all eat at the same pace. I just received the turbo track a few days ago. I put it together (in the figure 8 configuration) and within minutes my kitten was going crazy with it. She must have played with it for an hour straight. After she rested a few minutes, she was at it again. My older cat had to show her how to push the ball up and over the little incline. It was pretty cute. Glad I got it and would definitely recommend it.

I recently moved from a 2 storey 2500 sq ft house into an 850 sq ft apartment and have been breaking the bank to find daytime entertainment for my 2 indoor cats. I bought this toy over the other circular track toys like Starchaser since it looked like more fun for kitties and because you can add sections to it. While not as slick in appearance as other tunnel/tracks like the Cat-It Play Circuit, it is very attractive at a lower price point.

My 2 year old girl kitty will play with it for 20-30 minutes at a time without prompting. With some spray catnip applied to the ball, it's a non-stop laugh fest until she passes out on top of it. My older male is mildly interested. He will watch the little one play with it and I think he might join in if it were just a little bigger. As packaged, the track setup is small enough that one kitty can easily monopolize the toy.

I have tried all of the track layouts shown on the package with the exception of the "scribble" since that design has open ends and I don't really enjoy retrieving balls from under the stove. The best layout seems to be the figure eight. Kitty loves to push the ball over the bridge with her paw and then "ambush" it as it rolls through the tunnel. With more track sections, it would be even greater fun for her (and for me to put together!)

Positives: Reconfigurable track sections keep the toy interesting for both humans and kitties. The ball stays put in the track even after a concerted effort by kitty to pull it out with her paws (fun to watch!) but is easy to "pop out" if you want to change balls or spray some catnip on it. The plastic tracks seem to be of decent quality and do not smell bad. The toy is an appealing "Kermit the Frog" green color (I'm not sure where the other reviewer got "pea soup" green from.)The package says "Made in the USA" and the Bergan company is small and seems to have a corporate philosophy that is in the right place, both of which are important to this reviewer.

Downsides: the connectors that join the track sections are tricky to align. Putting them together requires a strange twisting push-pull motion that puts quite a bit of stress on them, especially if you have to do it a few times to "get it right." I fully expect them to snap off at some point and will have duct tape at the ready since kitty really likes this toy.

Overall, I fully recommend this product. I knocked off one star for the delicate nature of the connectors but regardless, will very likely buy some additional accessories.

I received the Cat Mate Pet Fountain around the end of June (2010) and today it stopped working. According to the Amazon return policy, my window for return ended on August 2. Up until the Pet Fountain stopped working, I thought it was the best cat water option I had found. It was easy to fill and to take care of. I am unbelievably disappointed that it is no longer working because I depend on flowing water for my cats.

Update: after checking the box again, I noticed there is a 3 year guarantee on the product with a 12 month guarantee on the pump. When I called customer service, I was advised that after cleaning (which I had just done), sometimes the fountain will need to "reset" (up to 1-2 hours) before running again. She said that if that didn't work, they would send a replacement pump. (My cats are now patiently waiting for the pump to "reset.")

Although I am not happy the fountain stopped working, I am impressed with the guarantee and customer service people. (I would have given 6 "stars" if the fountain hadn't stopped working.)

I recently purchased this water fountain for our cat, Gina. I was worried at first that she wasn't going to use it. I think it just took her a little time to get used to it. I do leave a water bowl out for her as well, but I think I can probably take that away soon, as she has taken well to the fountain and is using it now. I really like the design on this, as it is easy to clean and take apart. Would definitely recommend this item!

The catmate fountain is a great product! Our cat used to splash his water dish all over the floor and I had even gotten into the habit of stepping over the area that he would get wet. I haven't had a single puddle since getting this fountain. He also used to come in a dash whenever there was a faucet running to lap up the running water, but now he's always got his running water fix. It doesn't make any audible noise except for when I first turn it on. The only thing I regret is not getting this sooner!

This is a good, sturdy cat condo that was easy to assemble and can be taken apart and reassembled if you want to. The pom-pom can also be removed if you cat doesn't go for that. My only warning is that it really is as small (or smaller) than it looks. Kitten condo would be more appropriate than cat condo. Still, good for scratching or cats who like tight spaces.

I'd look at a similar item at Petco and thought this was the same size but it wasn't. My cat can crawl in and sometimes does, but he generally hangs partway out the opening. Also, the top platform barely gives him room to stand much less lay down.

On the plus side, I got it more as a scratching post rather than a cat condo. So, it works well for that purpose. Turns out I probably could have just gotten him the base piece and he would have been happy enough.

Regarding the attached toy. He's batted it a couple of times but that's about it and doesn't care if it's there or not.

While my cat really likes this, all 3 sections are too small for a full-grown, fairly large cat. My cat basically uses it as a glorified scratching post. As others have mentioned, the inside/bottom portion is too small for most cats to fit in. That didn't bother me so much because my cat already has a bed. I just wanted a tower he could use as a platform to jump on. The top platform is only about 9 inches across, and my cat is probably 15 inches. Also the toy is not on the very edge of the platform, but rather closer to the middle. This renders part of the already limited surface area practically useless. The middle level seems way too small for ANY cat. If they redesigned this as just a tower with a bigger platform and moved the toy to the edge, it would be great for cats who like to be up high, which is most cats. My cat likes the concept though, and tries to squeeze onto the small platform without falling off. It's like a game for him I guess.

When this dog door came my husband wasn't too excited about having another item added to his "honey-do" list. However, it installed so quickly that he didn't even mind. I ordered the "medium" size for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and it's just right. The small would have been way too little. The door says for dogs up to 35 pounds but I don't know how a dog 35 pounds could fit through this door. I like the magnet strip at the bottom of the door, it snaps the flap shut and helps keep bugs out and cold air. We'll see how cold the house gets with this door in the winter, we live where the temps get double digits below zero, so we may have to seal it off for the winter. For now though, I am in love with this dog door. It was easy to install and my dog fits through it so easily. Great purchase!

I originally installed this pet door in my french door in 1992. Finally the flap needed replacing (probably due to the visiting pets that stayed over the years that were rather large,yet still managed to squeeze through). I could have replaced the flap but decided to replace the whole pet door purely for aesthetic reasons ie color. The 1992 door was grey and decided to go with a new white one to match the color of the french door. I have been thoroughly pleased with the 18 years wear and tear the original pet door received and there was no question on buying the same door as a replacement. Basic and easy to install. In my view this door is aptly named and is truly the ideal pet door, sometimes simple is best. This, to me, is a very well made pet door. I am not the handiest person and I was able to install it in less than an hour with no problems whatsoever. Very clean looking once installed in "luan" door between kitchen and garage. I bought this door because winters in Indiana are very cold, and I wanted my dogs went to the garage for their "necessities". the door is two sides aluminum with foam inside. This product seems to be the best one around as far as I'm concerned for my cat. I've used other ones like Frontline and just didn't seem to work the way advantage does. My cat doesn't get scared when I put it on him and he seems to go about his day without any distress. And the fleas are well control for up to 6 weeks or longer. Not with others. This is my favorite product for fleas on my cat. And I shopped around and Amazon was the cheapest place around to purchase this "I Looked". So when I need it again I will purchase it from Amazon. I usually go to Advantage when the flea season starts (and it always worked good), but Costco had the cat Frontline and I tried that this time (I figured they were all pretty much the same). Boy what a MISTAKE!!!! My flea population EXPLODED on Frontline!!! I had my 2 cats and 2 dogs on the Frontline, and they were all itching and scratching with fleas. I waited for the month (literally picking at least 30 fleas off each of my dogs every night by hand to try and help), and then went back to my Advantage. The day after applying Advantage, I found 1 flea on my dog (I have long hair cats, and I cannot see the actual fleas on them, but I can on my dogs) and it was almost dead, it just fell off her (on Frontline, I went from having about 15 fleas fall off my dogs while bathing them before the application, to almost 100 while they were on it, so they had A LOT of fleas when I applied Advantage). My cats are not scratching constantly anymore. In 1 day, this product did what the people at Frontline told me would take up to 6 months for their product to do!! My vet mentioned that these would help with dog hair issues. At PetSmart a medium size one was in the $30-$35 range. I was able to get two medium Furminators plus shipping on Amazon for $25. I only recommed you read the instructions before use to get the full use out of it. Furthermore, I took my dogs last week to PetSmart to get bathed etc. and didn't realize when I picked them up for a $4 upcharge they would brush the dog for 15 minutes with the furminator. Wish I had known that first because I went home and did it. Just a heads up... Good Luck!

We have a small 16 pound Westie and these stairs did the trick. I would recommend them for a small animal. It seems to me that it's a bit small for a large dog, but I don't have direct experience in this matter.

Several past reviews have commented on the issue of the plastic footing sliding on a hardwood floor. This is true, but we found a relatively easy fix. We applied a couple of strips of masking tape around the perimeter of the steps, and it was enough to hold it steady (at least for a small dog like ours). The masking tape matches the color of the hardwood, so it didn't mar the appearance of our room.

These stairs have been in my apartment for 2 days and are already in constant use! My (very fat) cat was having trouble jumping up and down my bed. The bed is in a sleigh frame and the steps come right below the height, making the bed the last step. She usually refuses to use anything specifically designed for cats (scratching posts, play mice, cat beds, etc.) but she quickly decided the stairs were the most logical route down.

Only one star off because the stairs are one light hollow plastic piece and would not work for a heavier animal or one with long legs. Great buy!

Got this for our little chihuahuas. One can jump up on the bed by herself, but the little 3 lb tea cup, just curles up on the floor and waits for some-one to pick her up. The first day we got it, she figured it out, and spends half the day in the bed. Gonna buy another one soon. Only negative: don't sit or stand on it or it will break.

It took a while for the dogs to get used to the new steps, but now they use them regularly when getting onto and off of my bed.
