I bought this tower on Amazon because it was MUCH cheaper than ordering it from any other site I found it on. It shipped very quickly, and it was packaged well-- no pieces missing or damaged in any way.
Assembly was not difficult, and I put this together by myself at EIGHT months pregnant, so I would say ANYONE could do it with ease! (If you are short, you will have to stand on a step-stool in order to reach the top sections.) The instructions are somewhat vague, as they have NO written explanation, only pictures. But I managed to put it together in less than one hour, so obviously they are clear enough.
My cat absolutely ADORES this tower. She uses it to scratch and sharpen her claws (in fact, she has not once used our couch for this since we set up the tower, and she used to tear up our couch daily!), she sleeps on every single section of it except the very bottom (floor), and she plays on it constantly. She jumps from platform to platform, as well as from the tower to a nearby windowsill and back, and the tower holds up great. I only attached two of the three toys included (I could not find anywhere to attach the third), but she plays with both toys on a regular basis, and entertains the whole family while doing so. I'm sure that if she could rate this product, she would definitely rate it 5 stars.
ONE COMPLAINT: The 'stairs' or 'ramp' pieces have brackets on them to attach them to the tower, and these brackets are the wrong angle. I tried a few different things in order to make them fit correctly, but there was absolutely no way. My boyfriend tried to rig up a couple different methods of attaching them, but he couldn't figure anything out either. I have seen this complaint on several other reviews of this tower (at least eight, I stopped looking after seeing that many), so if this is something that will bother you, keep it in mind before purchasing! So I decided to not bother with them at all. One is in the trash, the other sits on a bench in the house, and she sometimes sits on it or sharpens her claws on it. Even with this problem, I love the tower-- since my cat has never known the tower to have these pieces, she doesn't miss them.
If it wasn't for the problem with the stairs/ramps, I would give this product five stars for sure, but I had to give it four because of that problem (especially knowing other people have had the same issue).
Easy to assemble, easy on the eyes, soft material, and most important- my cat LOVES it!

Bought this cat tree because the old one we bought at a cat show was falling apart. The product came in 5 days, came in 1 box took me only about 30 minutes to put together so i don't understand how some people stated that it was hard to put together. Overall I am happy with this product and the cat's love it. We have 4 cat's cleo she is 12, whitepaw he is 6, pinky she is 7, Snowball he is 2.

GoPetClub's cat tree (F2040-Blue) is not by ArmarKat -- still, ArmarKat is getting blamed for problems with their "copycat" tree because J. Hitesman attached his negative review to the wrong product. Sad to see it resulting in some folks passing this item by.
As for me, I own this very ArmarKat tower, having purchased it some months ago from ArmarKat directly. It cost me $175 with free shipping, and was delivered promptly. It was easy to put together. I parked it in front of our wide living-room window. The tree is big, but lovely; the quality, exceptional. It's proven to be quite sturdy and stable. We enjoy watching the cats congregate in it.
As for our six cats (adults, from 7 to 21 lbs), they use it extensively, for snoozing curled up, high in the perches, or for climbing and jumping, sitting and looking, scratching the posts, and playing. (The yarn balls do wear out so you'll soon need to get new and better toys.) For two of the cats, this tree has literally become their home inside our home, they're in it that much.
All the cats love it and highly recommend it. (I figure, hey, they should know. ;)

We have 5 cats in our home, and they really enjoy this cat tree. It is very sturdy, which is great when they run at it and jump on full steam. All of the places for scratching are great, since I'm in the process of discouraging a couple of them to stop sharpening their claws on wood trim in doorways, and upholstered furniture.
I've had this cat tree for about 6 months, and the fabric is starting to get a bit threadbare in one or two corners, but this is to be expected with the scratchers that use it. I also have 4 dogs, and I was pleasantly suprised that just sweeping the bottom with a broom quickly and easily gets the pet hair off. All in all, it was a good purchase and worth the price.
