I have 3 very lethargic overweight cats, and this toy squirrel has them up and running and acting like kittens again. The velcro pouch holds a decent amount of catnip to keep them coming back over and over.

I don't know why but both our cats love this toy. One is a kitten and loves every toy, but the other is her mother and she is twice as playful since we bought this. Every morning she brings it in to our home office, drops it at our feet and meows to play. They love to grab it and kick at it with their hind legs, and sometimes even lick it until it's almost soaked. The loose leaf catnip works great. Like another reviewer pointed out, you can rub it to release the smell again and avoid reloading it. There's nothing special about this toy. It's simply a little stuffed animal with a fuzzy tail and some velcro on its stomach. But if your cats enjoy it half as much as ours then it's money well spent.

Usually my cats play with toys for one day and then forget about them. But this toy was different, I've had it for about a year now and my one cat still plays with it every day! She carries it all over the house and leaves it in funny places, like the dog bowl, my dirty clothes pile, etc. I haven't even put catnip in it for months, and she still loves it! The best buy on any toy I've ever bought for them!

I only bought this because I saw it on slickdeals and it was $3 at the time. I really didn't even know what it was, but I figured it would be something for the cats to play with. When it arrived I wasn't that impressed by it, but I turned it over to the kitties and let them go at it. Orwell could care less about it, but it quickly became Angus' favorite toy. He loves this thing and plays with it everyday. Loves to toss it in the air and bat it around! Good mouser practice!
