Although this is designed to clean the Drinkwell Pet Fountain, this kit was "suggested" to go with the Petmate Freshflow Fountain. The Freshflow fountain has one hole that the long skinny bush can be used for but it still isn't necessary. And the large brush is exactly the same as used for cleaning baby bottles, just more expensive. This may very well be a great add-on to the Drinkwell Pet Fountain, But if you're buying the Freshflow... You don't need this!

This trio of brushes do a great job of getting in all the nooks and crannies of the pet fountain.

It does what it's supposed to do, and it does make the job of cleaning the fountain a little easier. I have no complaints.

Fresh water does not count, if the bowl is slimy. Not only are the tools top quality, but the instructions on the back of the package are much better than those that came with the pet fountain.

The brushes are just right to clean all of the parts and recesses of the fountain. I would not buy the fountain without buying the brushes. The only down side is finding a good place to store them.
